OVERVIEW

Safety Instrumented System (SIS)

SUPCON SIS is a certified, high-availability safety platform built for the most demanding industrial environments.

Certified to SIL 3

IEC 61511 compliance built in, continuously verified through real-time diagnostics

Redundant. Resilient. Always on.

Fault-tolerant architecture designed to protect assets without interrupting operations

Zero Spurious Trips

Intelligent diagnostics eliminate false alarms so shutdowns only happen when safety demands it
Safety Architecture

Built for Maximum Reliability

Safety Integrity

To ensure a high hardware fault tolerance, Webfield® TCS-900 is designed with dual redundant controllers of triple modular redundancy architecture supporting 3-3-2-2-0 five-layer voting mechanism.

Triple Modular Redundancy

TMR architecture is adopted throughout from input modules to controllers to output modules. Each module houses three independent channels passing isolated data. Each controller performs parallel input, prosessing and output of data respectively. In case of failure, data are reselected in nanoseconds with no host-to-standby switching process.

5-Layer Voting

5-layer voting mechanism is devised to strengthen error-free and uninterrupted process operation. By segmenting and isolating failures to the maximum extent possible, spurious trip is optimally avoided. A single point of failure will not trigger a degrade, allowing the system to continiously work in triplicated control without any interruption.
